The 20 RF refrigerated container, thanks to its dimensions, is able to accommodate 10 Euro-pallets loaded with goods (such as dairy products) which gives us a total volume of 27.4m³ and a maximum load of almost 21 tons allows us to conveniently transport goods in large batches.

The dimensions are the standard dimensions available to storage containers. Sequentially, its dimensions are 6058 mm in length, 2438 mm in width, 2591 mm in height, these are universal dimensions, allowing us to place it anywhere (after preparing the surface).

Details of the 20 RF refrigerated container

Its volume allows us to avoid crushing and exposing temperature-sensitive products to frequent exposure to external conditions, which can affect their shelf life. The ability to regulate the temperature from -30°C to 30°C allows us to transport deep-frozen products (vegetables, fruits) products that require low temperature (meat), products that require constant temperature (ripened cheeses).

Convenient temperature is obtained, thanks to efficient aggregators, which depending on the temperature are connected to the power supply: 380V, 10kW, 32A. Constant access to change the temperature is thus facilitated. Such a solution allows a refrigerated container to start working as a cold storage facility from its connection to an independent network (according to the law, the container must be connected to such a network, moreover, it is necessary to remember the prohibition of using branches).

The 20 RF refrigerated container is suitable for transporting large batches of goods that need to be transported in appropriate conditions. Thanks to the walls made of sandwich panels (insulation made of polyurethane foam), the desired temperature inside the container is maintained regardless of the weather conditions outside.

The floor of the container is made of aluminum gretting, which allows air circulation and maintenance of appropriate humidity parameters (the floor should not be tightly covered, as this blocks air circulation). These types of conditions allow to turn the refrigerated container into a mobile cold storage that can be set up on a suitably prepared surface.

Several factors contribute to the advantage of the container over classic refrigerators. After being brought and connected, they are immediately ready for operation, and we do not waste time renovating the room and preparing it to serve as a cold store. Interestingly, no permits of any kind are required to erect this type of cold storage, which allows us to protect our products right away.

Maintenance of the 20 RF container

And what about maintenance? It is very simple. You should defrost the container every certain period of time and clean the condenser. This will allow us to use the container for years and ensure the safety of stored goods. Refrigerated containers as mobile cold storage are used by many companies (such as meat companies). Thanks to their adaptations, they are increasingly used by restaurateurs as an alternative to refrigerators. Constant air circulation and proper temperature allow products to remain fresh for a long time.

Refrigerated containers will work well for transporting goods sensitive to temperature spikes, as well as those that will only be fit for consumption at a certain storage temperature. The mobility of this type of refrigerated container allows for convenient transportation, and gives us the opportunity to use it as a stationary cold storage facility at a given location, if necessary. In this way, we can save the time and money that we would have spent on building a new cold storage facility, which, in addition, will not be mobile like that of a container.
